- Bucko is free to download on the App Store. Optional Bucko Premium is sold as an in-app purchase, currently listed at $6.99 per month or $34.99 per year.
- Does Bucko connect to my bank?
- No. Bucko does not import bank feeds. You add income and expenses yourself with a guided flow, plain-language capture, or a receipt scan.
- What devices can run Bucko?
- Bucko is an iPhone budget app that requires iOS 15.1 or later. The App Store also lists compatibility with iPod touch, Apple silicon Macs, and Apple Vision.
- Can I share a wallet with a partner or household?
- Yes. Bucko supports invite-based shared wallets so household spending can live in one place. People in that wallet may see balances, transactions, and related data for the shared wallet.
- How do the AI features work?
- You can type entries such as coffee 5 EUR, chat about everyday money questions, and scan receipts. Bucko may suggest categories, amounts, and other details. You review those suggestions before they become records. AI output can be wrong.
- Does Bucko keep my receipt photos?
- Receipt images are treated as temporary processing inputs. Confirmed or cancelled scans are designed to delete the uploaded image, and stale uploads are cleaned up on about a 24-hour cycle.
